Out of ambition to create compelling change, Anke Louwers, Kano Afify and Pauline Joy Richard founded InRe in 2019. Drawing on a wide network of resources, their unique collaboration offers a flexible structure to deliver conscious and thoughtful propositions of the highest standard. The team's eclectic background and experience across product design, materials innovation and brand research for global luxury brands enables the creation of fresh ideas from concept to delivery.

Having worked decades in the fashion & design industry, both inside corporations and as independants, we have eyes on the constant flow of information and data, classifying the worthy, the interesting and the innovative, making In Re a unique coalition, and rightfully so
Amsterdam based designer Anke Louwers takes creatives concepts and materialises them. With a warm heart for crafts, factories and products she is the one on the factory floor making sure the identity of a brand is kept. After an education at Design Academy Eindhoven, her field of expertise is creating bespoke leather collections for respected brands such as Louis Vuitton, Apple and Ecco. Wihtin In Re, Anke’s holistic sense makes her the chaos manager of the team.
Drawing from his diverse background — Canadian of Japanese-Egyptian heritage with a thriving studio in the Mediterranean — this accomplished creative with encyclopaedic knowledge of the fashion industry is constantly looking to push the envelope of design and sustainability. With early experiences designing luxury footwear in Italy and France for Bruno Magli, Stephane Kélian and Anna Sui among others, and subsequent roles leading design teams at global brands such as Camper and Ecco, Kano Afify knows the ins and outs of design and production.
Experienced navigator between luxury house universes, manufacturing sites, designers studios and corporate ecosystems, Pauline Joy Richard, the youngest of the team, is the entropic entity of In Re. A French/American industrial designer who went to study on the bench-es of Central Saint Martins and Kolding danish design school, she worked first in Hong Kong, then for Chanel in Paris, Ecco and finally joining LVMH as a Creative Art Director for the past 5 years, supervising their Métiers d’Art department.
